Neil Oberman is a Conservative Party for Canada candidate challenging incumbent Anthony Housefather, a member of the ruling Liberal Party, to be an MP for Mount Royal in the House of Commons. As Canada is set to hold general elections on April 28, the race in Mount Royal— which has a large Jewish population—could be key because Liberals have held the riding since 1940.
